  1. Open the instrument panel (IP) compartment door.
  2. Remove the fasteners (2) that secure the storage compartment (1) to the IP.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (4) for the storage compartment lamp (3).
  4. Remove the IP storage compartment from the IP by pulling toward the rear of the vehicle.
