Circuit Description
When ignition key is inserted in ignition lock, VTD module reads transponder code from key. This DTC sets if module detects no key transponder signal for more than one second. When DTC is set, module will send a disable message to PCM. DTC will set to history when a key with a valid transponder signal is received.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
