Temperature Control (Dual-Zone System)

2000 Buick Century CustomSECTION Temperature Control (Dual-Zone System)

Temperature is controlled according to position of temperature selectors (rotary knob for driver's side; slide lever for passenger's side) on A/C-heater control panel. An electric motor (air temperature actuator) is attached to each side of A/C-heater module and is used to control temperature valves based on input from temperature selectors. Temperature valves control airflow through heater core as temperature selectors are moved through their full travel.
