Diagnostic Aids
If DTC B2578 is a history code, fault may be intermittent. Wiggle wiring and connectors during test to check for intermittent connections. An intermittent malfunction could be set by an intermittent short to battery voltage in White wire between headlamp relay and BCM, intermittent short to battery voltage in headlamp relay coil, or a short to battery voltage inside BCM.
