Disabling System (Villager)
1998 Buick RivieraSECTION Disabling System (Villager)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait at least 10 minutes. This time is required for back-up power supply in diagnostic monitor to deplete its stored energy.
- Remove panel covering lower portion of steering column to access driver-side air bag module connector. Disconnect driver-side air bag connector from air bag module. Install Air Bag Simulator (T94P-50-A) to air bag module harness connector to simulate air bag.
- Disconnect passenger-side air bag module connector. Connector is located behind glove box. Install Air Bag Simulator (T96P-50-A) to air bag module harness connector to simulate air bag. Connect negative battery cable.
