  1. Ensure battery is in good condition by pressing panic button of transmitter. If battery is good, horn will beep and lights flash. If horn does not beep and lights do not flash, battery is bad or RKE transmitter is malfunctioning. Transmitters should be resynchronized if transmitter battery is changed or if transmitter buttons are depressed too many times out of range of vehicle.
  2. To resynchronize transmitter with Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module. Press and hold RKE transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons for 8 seconds, or until horn beeps and lights flash. Repeat steps for each transmitter to be resynchronized.
