Driven Sprocket Support Assembly: Installation

1998 Buick Regal 25th Anniversary EditionSECTION Installation

Use petroleum jelly to secure housing thrust washer for 2nd clutch to driven sprocket support assembly. Finger tighten 2 channel plate bolts (13 mm) into driven sprocket support assembly. Using bolts, lift driven sprocket support into transaxle case. See Figure. Top of support should be flush with case. If support is not flush with case, one of the clutches is not fully seated.
