- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a test light, backprobe between ground and Dark Green wire at wiper switch 48-pin connector. Connector is located behind instrument panel, on right side of steering column.
- If test light is on, check for poor connection or open in Dark Green wire between wiper switch and wiper motor. Repair as necessary. If no problem is found, replace wiper motor cover. If test light is off, check for poor connection or open in wiper/washer pigtail connection. Repair as necessary. If no problem is found, replace wiper/washer switch assembly.
