Pressure Cycling Switch (3.8L)

1995 Buick Regal Gran SportSECTION Pressure Cycling Switch (3.8L)

Pressure cycling switch, located on accumulator, senses low side pressure. The switch cycles compressor clutch on and off to maintain desired evaporator temperature. The switch also functions as a safety device. If orifice tube becomes plugged, or if a massive discharge occurs, the pressure cycling switch prevents compressor clutch engagement.
