If high side pressure exceeds about 410-450 psi (29-32 kg/cm2 ), high-pressure cut-off switch (located on compressor) opens the circuit to the compressor clutch. Compressor operation resumes when pressure drops to about 150-250 psi (11-18 kg/cm2 ).
