Code A035: Pump Motor Runs Too Long
The accumulator switch motor control will close when pressure drops below 2200 psi (155 kg/cm2 ). The pump motor relay coil then grounds, causing voltage to be applied to pump motor and pump on input. When pump motor is on, Pump-On Input will receive voltage. To set Code A035, the anti-lock brake controller must sense voltage at terminal 1C12 for more than 3 minutes.
- If Code A031 is also set, inspect for defect in pump motor circuit.
- If pump is running constantly, fault is electrical. If pump is running longer than normal, fault is hydraulic.
- If pump motor remains off, a defective accumulator or hydraulic failure is indicated.
- Isolates short to ground in circuit No. 973.
- Isolates pump motor circuit from anti-lock brake controller and circuit No. 975 to detect short to battery.
- Determines if short to ground exists in circuit No. 963, or if pump motor relay is defective.
