Code A033: Brake Switch Open
Voltage is continuously applied to the brake switch. When brake switch is closed, voltage is applied to brakelights and terminal 1C11 (Light Blue wire) of anti-lock brake controller. The anti-lock brake controller can sense when brakes have been applied because voltage is received at the brake-apply input. To set Code A033, the following conditions must occur.
- Anti-lock brake controller senses no voltage at terminal 1C11 (Light Blue wire).
- Anti-lock brake controller senses two wheels are slowing at a rate that would be improbable without using the brakes.
- Checks for improperly adjusted or intermittent brake switch.
