Code A018: Left Front Hold Solenoid Shorted To Battery
When front enable relay is energized, voltage is applied to left front solenoid. To activate left front hold solenoid, the anti-lock brake controller grounds circuit No. 858 of left front hold solenoid. To set Code A018, the following conditions must occur.
- Front enable relay is energized.
- Left front hold solenoid control is closed.
- Anti-lock brake controller senses voltage at terminal 1D1.
- Verifies fault still exists.
- Check for short to battery.
- Isolate short in anti-lock brake controller or circuit No. 858.
- If left front solenoid is not shorted, anti-lock brake controller has internal defect.
