Rack Bearing Preload

- Raise and support front of vehicle. Center steering wheel. Loosen adjusting plug lock nut. Turn adjusting plug clockwise until it bottoms in housing. Back off adjusting plug 50-70 degrees on Beretta and Corsica, 35-45 degrees on all other models.
- Tighten lock nut to specification while holding adjuster plug stationary. Check steering wheel movement for binding after adjustment.
