1986 Buick Skylark Limited, 3.0 LSECTION Throttle Body

The throttle body is used to control the amount of air that enters the engine as well as the amount of vacuum in the throttle body vacuum manifold. The throttle body also supports and controls the movement of the throttle position sensor (TPS), enabling the ECM to know the throttle position under all operating conditions. See Fig 1 .
