Quick Vacuum Response Valve (QVRV)

1985 Buick LeSabre V8-350 5.7L DSLSECTION Quick Vacuum Response Valve (QVRV)

These valves, used in EGR and TCC systems on diesel engines, function as quick acting vacuum release valves. As long as vacuum input to the valves remains constant or is increasing, vacuum output is equal to vacuum input. However, if the vacuum input signal decreases, the vacuum output signal will be vented until vacuum trapped within the operated device equalizes with input vacuum or input vacuum increases.
