A/C Module Replace

1985 Buick LeSabre V8-350 5.7L DSLSECTION A/C Module Replace

CAPRICE, CUSTOM CRUISER, 88, 98, IMPALA, LESABRE, PARISIENNE & ESTATE WAGON

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and discharge system refrigerant.
2. Remove hood, then the righthand windshield wiper arm.
3. Remove module leaf, screen and seal, then the top cover and blower motor as an assembly.
4. Remove evaporator and heater cores.
5. Remove passenger side hush panel.
6. Remove glove box.
7. Disconnect temperature control cable at module.
8. Remove A/C ductwork and heater distributor outlet.
9. Remove A/C control assembly, leaving cables and wiring connected at module.
10. Disconnect compressor and pressure cut-out switch electrical connectors.
11. Remove vacuum reserve tank, then the accumulator bracket.
12. Remove module to cowl attaching screws, then the module.
13. Reverse procedure to install.
