1985 Buick Electra V6-260 4.3L DSLSECTION Adjustments

1981-85 Diesel Engines:

1. Start engine and allow it to warm up to operating temperature.
2. Connect tachometer following manufacturer's instructions.
3. Adjust screw on injection pump to obtain specified slow idle.
4. Turn ignition OFF and then attach jumper wire across fast idle switch connector terminals.
5. Turn ignition ON and adjust idle solenoid (energized) to obtain specified fast idle.
