Main bearing supplies oil through drilled passages in crankshaft to connecting rod bearings. Pistons and cylinder walls are lubricated by oil forced through small notch in connecting rod bearing parting surface that registers with hole in crankshaft every revolution. Piston pins are lubricated by splash.
