- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Position the new trunk lid on the tailgate hinges.
Make sure that the spindle driver is not damaged.
Make sure that the striker is not engaged in the trunk lid lock. If necessary, cover the trunk lid lock.
- Tighten down screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Support hood/trunk lid in fully open position with the aid of a suitable device.
