- Preclean all bonding surfaces with solvent cleaner R2.
CONSUMABLE SPECIFICATION

- Clean all bonding surfaces with solvent cleaner R1.

- Apply adhesive K1 to bonding surfaces.
ADHESIVE SPECIFICATION
| Body adhesive K1 | 195 ml | 83190413015 |
- During installation of the new parts, make sure that sufficient adhesive has been applied to all bonding surfaces.
- Install the new part with an alignment bracket or a universal fixture.
- Rivet the new parts in areas (1) with three blind rivets N1.

- Weld the new part in the areas (3).
Avoid excessive application of heat to adhesive areas.
- Weld the new part in the area (1).

The cowling cross-member (2) is filled with hardly inflammable cavity foam.
- In case of smoke formation: Stop the welding procedure and cool the welded area with compressed air if applicable.
- Rivet the new part in the area (2) with blind rivets N1 (1).

- Rivet the new part in the area (1) with blind rivets N2.

- In the areas (2), use the punch rivet N5.

- Weld the separating cut and reinforcement plate (3). Avoid excessive application of heat to adhesive areas.
Installing the EMC screw
- Drill the hole with a diameter of 4.2 mm after the adhesive completely hardens.
- Screw in the EMC screw.
- Seal the EMC screw with the sealant.
