Install control unit bracket

2023 BMW M340iSECTION Install control unit bracket
  • Make sure the control unit bracket (1)  at bottom is fed into the mount (2)  correctly.

  • Feed in the control unit bracket (2)  and install.
  • Tighten down screws (1)  .
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

Hexagon screw tightening torque  8 Nm

  • Feed in and install the cable clip (1)  .

    The lock (arrow) must audibly engage.

  • Secure clamps (1)  .

  • Attach the cable bracket (1)  to the control unit bracket (2)  and lock.

    The lock (arrow) must audibly engage.

  • Attach the connector (4)  to the control unit bracket (5)  and lock.

    The connector (4)  must engage audibly.

  • Connect connectors (3)  and lock.

    The connector (3)  must engage audibly.

  • Attach the connector (2)  to the control unit bracket (5)  and lock.

    The connector (2)  must engage audibly.

  • Connect connectors (1)  and lock.

    The connector (1)  must engage audibly.

  • Secure the clamps (arrows).
