- Version A:
- Check the detents (1) and (2)
- Replace the covers in case of faulty detents (1) or (2)
- Feed in the cover (1) and engage
- Version B:
- Check the detents (1) on the covers (2) for damage, if necessary, replace the covers (2)
The covers (2) must not be damaged or missing
- Position the covers (1) correctly onto the mirror and lock it at the detents (2)
- Version C:
Check
- Check the detents (1) and (2) of the covers for damage

Measure
- Replace cover
- Guide in cover (1) on the left and right and engage on detents (2) and (3)
Check
- Check clamps (1) for damage; replace if necessary
- Check detents (2) for damage
Result
» Detent is damaged
Measure
- Replace cover
- Feed the cover (1) into the guides at the front and engage it at the snap-in lugs (3) and the clamps (2)
- Version D:
- Check detents (arrows) on the covers (1) and (2) for damage, if necessary replace the covers (1) and (2)
- Position the covers (1) and (2) correctly on the mirror and engage it at the separation point (3)
