Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT FOOTWELL TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE DOOR SILL COVER STRIP ON THE RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SIDE TRIM PANEL IN THE FOOTWELL AT THE RIGHT-HAND A-PILLAR .
- Unlock detents (1)
and feed out the power distribution box (2)
downward
- Fold the carpet (1) to the side
- Loosen the detents (2)
- Guide cover (3)
out in arrow direction
- Unlock all plug connections and disconnect
- Release detent (1)
- Feed the BDC control unit (2)
out of the bracket in direction of arrow (3)
