2023 BMW M3 Base, Standard TransSECTION Removing Damaged Self-Tapping Screws

Precondition 

Sealant has been removed from the screw head

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details
  • Position the chisel (1) on the side of the screw head
  • Loosen the screw (2) by hitting it with a hammer
  • Repeat the process until the screw (2) has turned by approximately 90°

  • Remove the screw (1) using pliers (2)
