Removing wiper arm

Damage to the wiper console
If the wiper arm is removed without a special tool, the wiper console can break

If the wiper arm is removed without a special tool, the wiper console can break
- Only remove the wiper arm with the described special tool
- Do not lever off the wiper arm, as otherwise the wiper console can break at the predetermined breaking point for active pedestrian protection
- Disconnect the washer fluid hose (1) at the separation point and feed out from the windshield panel guide
- Remove the protective cap (1)
- Loosen nut (2)
- Detach wiper arm (1) with special tool 0 493 441 (61 6 060)
