The sealing surfaces must be free of oil, grease and cleaning agents.

- Replace sealing rings (1)

Parts: Sealing ring
- Coat the sealing rings (1)
with fresh
engine oil.
- Guide in and install the engine oil lines (2) .
- Tighten the screws and the nuts (1) .
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Make sure that the connections are locked correctly. The locks must engage audibly.

- Connect and lock coolant line (1)

The coolant line (1) must engage audibly.
- Insert and install the tank vent line (2) .
- Ensure that all locks (1) engage audibly.
- Attach the tank vent line (2)
at the holder (3)

- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Improper routing of cables and wiring harnesses.
Trapped, crushed or damaged cables may cause short circuits and malfunctions.

- Route all cables without abrasions, do not trap and crush.
- Insert and position the wiring harness section (2) for the sensor system 1.
- Secure the clamp (1) .
CAUTION:
Improper routing of the positive battery cable.

- Route the positive battery cable without abrasions and do not trap.
- Feed in and position the positive battery cable (2) .
- Secure clamps (1) and (3) .
- Feed in and position the positive battery cable (2) .
- Tighten nut (1) .
