61 61 800 Basic setting for windshield wipers
Basic setting:Β
Move wiper drive to wiper park position and keep supplied with current (self-locking facility active).
Mount wiper arm in wiper park position.
Start teach-in (without LIN communication/voltage interruption).
- Start diagnostic system
- Move wiper arm into pre-reference position (1; 2).
- Manually move driver's side wiper arm from the pre-reference position (1) to the gutter strip (hand on wiper blade tip, not on wiper arm)
- Manually move passenger's side wiper arm from the pre-reference position (2) to the gutter strip (hand on wiper blade tip, not on wiper arm)
- Confirm wiper position in diagnostic system
Teach-in was successful if windshield wiper moves back to wiper park position.
During teach-in, it is not permissible to manually push back/reset the wiper arm!
If unsuccessful, the teach-in must be repeated/restarted.
