Removing and installing/replacing the Car Sharing Module

Do not book drivings!
The Car Sharing Module is located in the center armrest.
CAR SHARING MODULE FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION .
Open lid of center armrest (1). Insert special tool 2 354 571Β in Car Sharing Module (3) as shown and press down.
Remove Car Sharing Module (3) from base plate (2).
Replacement:Β
After installing a new Car Sharing Module, proceed as follows:Β
- Lock vehicle with ignition key.
- Wait until the green LED on the external reader lights up.
(The external reader is located on the windshield in the bottom left corner in the direction of travel.)
