61 35 360 Removing and installing/replacing control unit for camera-based driver support systems (KAFAS)
Preliminary work needed:Β
- Refer to CLAMPING OFF BATTERY LEAD FROM NEGATIVE CONNECTION POINTΒ .
- Refer to REMOVING TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL MECHANISM .
Release detents on equipment holder (1) in arrow direction.
Feed out control unit (2) from equipment holder towards top.
Disconnect plug connections (3) and remove control unit (2).
Installation note:Β
Make sure control unit (2) is correctly installed in equipment holder.
Replacement:Β
Carry out PROGRAMMING/CODINGΒ .
Calibrate after having exchanged the windshield:Β
- Service function
- Driver assistance
- Camera-based driver support systems
- Calibration of camera-based driver support systems
