61 71 100 Removing and installing/replacing windshield washer pump
Before replacing the windshield washer pump, check the washer fluid reservoir for dirt contamination and clean if necessary!
Preliminary work needed:Β
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WELL .
Unlock and disconnect hose pipes (1) on windshield washer pump (2).
Unfasten plug connection (3) and disconnect.
Pull windshield washer pump (2) out of washer fluid reservoir in arrow direction.
Installation note:Β
- Replace strainer (4) in windshield washer pump.
- Coat sealing ring of windshield washer pump with lubricant
- Lay hose pipe of windshield washer pump without kinks
- Top up the WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR .
