- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Position the tailgate on the tailgate hinges.
Hand-tighten the screws (1) on the left and right on the tailgate hinge.
- Carefully close the tailgate and check for contact between vehicle bodies.
If necessary position the tailgate again.
- Insert the wiring harnesses (1) in the tailgate.
- Fasten the wiring harnesses (1) with all the holders (arrows) on the tailgate.
- Connect and lock all the plug connections of the wiring harnesses (1) on the tailgate.
