Remove and install left rear seat (through-loading). See 52 26 005 Removing and installing/replacing rear seat (through-loading system) 

Remove and install rear head restraints. See 52 26 390 Removing and installing/replacing rear head restraints (through-loading system) 

Remove and install armrest for rear-seat backrest (through-loading system). See 52 26 030 Removing and installing/replacing armrest for rear seat backrest (through-loading system) 

Remove and install trim of actuator for left rear seat. See Actuating unit version (C) (spare part): 

Remove and install ski bag with cassette. See 52 26... Removing and installing/replacing ski bag with cassette on rear seat (through-loading system) (Touring) 

Remove and install actuator for rear-seat armrest/ski bag. See Actuating unit version (C) (spare part): 

Release screw (1) on seat outer mount.

Installation: 

  1. Insert screw (1) and plastic washer (2) as shown into mounting (3) and screw down.

Remove cover.

Carefully bend open cover of seat center mount and remove.

Unfasten screws.

Remove trim.

Separate webbing.

Lever cover with trim wires (1) out of metal clutches (2).

Detach cover all around by levering out piping (1).

Detach trim wire (1) from rear panel.

Replacement, "padding": 

Note clip positions.

Cut through or bend open all clips, remove remnants of clips from cover and padding.

Installation: 

  1. Lock new clips by bending with special tool 52 0 050.

Only replacement of "backrest cover": 

Remove all trim wires from cover.

Cut new cover and insert the trim wires.
