61 66... Installing pulse eliminator
Pulse eliminator is fitted in case of the following customer complaint:
- Windscreen washer fluid splashing onto windscreen when rear window washer is operated.
Necessary preliminary work:Β
- Open engine compartment lid
Remove hose with wiring harness (1) from bracket on gas pressure spring (2). Unfasten clip (3) from bonnet.
Pull off hose (1) from support (2).
Version with heated washer jets only:Β
Bend up tab (2). Remove wiring harness (1) from hose (3) as shown in figure.
Shorten hose (1) 30 mm with a suitable tool.
Cut-off hose (1) is no longer needed.
Do not damage the wiring harness (2) when shortening the hose (1)!
