Removing and installing/replacing intake silencer housing, left (S55 engine)
Necessary preliminary work:Β
- Remove CARBON STRUT .
Removal:Β
Release connector (1) on hot film air mass meter and disconnect.
Release clamp (2).
Release vent hose (3).
Release coolant hose from intake silencer housing (5).
Detach intake silencer housing (5) from rubber mount (4) in upward direction.
Remove intake silencer housing (5) towards top.
Installation:Β
Install intake silencer housing (5).
Engage intake silencer housing (5) in rubber mount (4).
Attach coolant hose to intake silencer housing (5).
Connect vent hose (3).
Tighten clamp (2).
Tightening torque 13 71 1AZ .
Attach connector (1).
Connector (1) must snap audibly into place.
Required follow-up work:Β
- Install CARBON STRUT .
