- 11 36 Variable Camshaft Timing Control System (VANOS)
- 11 36 112 Removing and installing/replacing the intake adjuster, left (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
- Remove the sealing cap on the cylinder head of the cylinder bank 2
- Moving the crankshaft to the installation position to adjust the timings
- Check the VANOS adjuster of cylinder bank 2
- Relaxing chain tensioner on bank 2 for checking or setting timing
- Removing hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
- Preloading the timing chain of cylinder bank 2
- Fixing the engine in the installation position on cylinder 1 (set valve timings)
- Replacing the left intake VANOS adjuster
- Removing special tool to pretension timing chain on cylinder bank 2
- Installing the hydraulic chain tensioner of cylinder bank 2
- Installing the sealing cap on the cylinder head of cylinder bank 2
- 11 36 114 Removing and installing/replacing left exhaust camshaft adjuster (750i xDrive 2016-2022)
