2013 BMW X3 35iSECTION 61 31 082 Removing and installing/replacing switch for (left or right) central locking system

Special tools required:Β 

NOTE: When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged. If necessary, protect the working area with yellow plastic adhesive tape.

Removal:Β 

Lever out trim (1) or tweeter speaker cover at front with special tool 64 1 020 .

Disconnect relevant connector and remove trim (1).

Replacement:Β 

Unlock latch mechanisms on both sides.

Remove switch for central locking system (1) from trim.

Installation:Β 

Connect corresponding connector.

Insert trim (1) or tweeter speaker cover into door trim panel.
