Recycling 

Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.

Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.

Disconnect plug (1) from temperature sensor.

Press retaining clips (1) together.

Remove temperature sensor (2) in direction of arrow.

Assemble engine.

Check function of DME.

Check cooling system  for leaks. See 17 00 009 CHECKING COOLING SYSTEM FOR WATER LEAKS .

Check coolant level and top up if necessary.
