2013 BMW 128i 2D Convertible, Eng CD N52, Standard TransSECTION 51 11... Installing/Replacing Number/License Plate (Without Base)

Initial fitting:Β 

Place drilling hole template (1) on bumper (2).

NOTE: Hole diameter = 2.5 mm

Drill holes according to number/license plate.

Remove template (1) and secure number/license plate with screws provided.

Tightening torque, see 51 11 3AZ in 51 11 FRONT BUMPER .

Fit protective caps.

Place drilling hole template (1) on radiator grille (2) and bumper (3).

NOTE: Hole diameter = 2.5 mm

Drill holes according to number/license plate.

Remove template (1) and secure number/license plate with screws provided.

Tightening torque, see 51 11 3AZ in 51 11 FRONT BUMPER .

Fit protective caps.

Repairing thread:Β 

Drill out defective hole in bumper (2) to 9.5 mm diameter.

Insert blind rivet nut (1)

Secure number/license plate (3) with number/license plate screw (4).

Tightening torque, see 51 11 4AZ in 51 11 FRONT BUMPER .
