Remove and Install Engine Cover
E60, E61 only:Β
To remove cover of fuel injectors: Necessary preliminary tasks:Β Remove microfilter housing lower sections on left and right. Unclip wiring harness sections (1) from cable holder (3). Lever out expansion rivets (2). Remove cable holder (3) from tension struts in direction of arrow.
All models:Β
Unclip cover caps from screws and release screws. Remove cover for fuel injectors.
Unclip cover caps from screws and release screws. Remove sealing cap (1). Remove cover from ignition coil cover. Screw cap (1) back into cylinder head cover.
