Necessary Preliminary Tasks:Β
- Remove mechanism for glass cover at front. Refer to 54 10 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING MECHANISM FOR FRONT GLASS LIDΒ .
- Remove drive unit. Refer to 67 61 515 REPLACING DRIVE WITH GEAR (FRONT) FOR ACTUATING SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF (PANORAMA GLASS SUNROOF) .
Overview Of Glass Lid Mechanism:Β
If necessary, remove drive wedge (1).
If necessary, slide drive cable plate (2) towards rear and remove from guide rail.
