Special tools required :
To prevent damaging the basic gauge, set the gauge down only in the transportation crate or on the vehicle side panel.
The basic gauge is a highly sensitive measuring instrument which reacts with distortion, even to light impacts.
The basic gauge must be checked for dimensional accuracy on a master gauge after being subjected to impact or dropped.
The basic gauge specifies the basic setting on the X, Y and Z axis.
The basic gauge is essential for the following job items:
- Calibrating the coupling lock
- Calibrating the roof module console
Lift out cover (1) on left base plate.
Installation note :
Cover (1) for base plate must be replaced after each removal.
