Servomotor with Motor Position Sensor

The servomotor with worm gear are powered to rotate the disc cam. The servomotor is a permanent magnet (1) DC motor which contains a Hall sensor (2) to detect the position and the adjusting speed of the motor shaft. This is proportional to the degree of multi-disc clutch engagement. See Fig 1 .
