IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage  (ESD protection)   .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release nuts (1) and if necessary remove grounding cable (2).

Unclip cable holder (3).

Remove control unit from guide (5) and disconnect plug connections (4).

Installation: 

Replace damaged cable holder.

Tightening torque, see 32 43 1AZ  in 32 43 ELECTRONIC POWER STEERING .
