Necessary preliminary tasks:Β
- Remove acoustic covers. See 13..... REMOVE THE ACOUSTIC COVERS (M57T2 WITH AND WITHOUT SCR) .
- Disconnect control unit, refer to REMOVING CONTROL UNITΒ
- Remove intake air manifold. See 11 61 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE PLENUM (M57T2/SCR) .
Disconnect plugs on injectors.
Release bolts (1).
Remove cable duct (2) from mounting towards top.
Pull out lock (1)
Press out black plug (2) in chamber A.
Press out white plug (3) in chamber B.
Assemble engine.
NOTE:
Read out DDE fault memory.
