61 13 050 Removing and installing/replacing power distribution box in passenger compartment
Necessary preliminary tasks:Β
- Clamp off BATTERY LEAD FROM NEGATIVE CONNECTION POINTΒ
- Detach both battery cables for negative terminal in F03
- Remove RIGHT GLOVE BOX WITH HOUSING
Disconnect plug connection (1) from power distribution box in passenger compartment (3) and junction box electronics.
Release screw (2).
Tightening torque 61 14 1AZ.
Feed out power distribution box in passenger compartment (3) from retaining clips (4) in direction of arrow.
UNLOCK AND DISCONNECT PLUG CONNECTIONSΒ behind.
Replacement:Β
- Modify JUNCTION BOX ELECTRONICSΒ
- Modify fuses
