Comply with TEST PREREQUISITESΒ  for headlight adjustment.

Refer to the manufacturer's operating instructions for the headlight adjustment device!Β 

NOTE: Dynamic Light Spot headlight must be adjusted in the following cases:Β 
  • After removing and installing/replacing the Dynamic Light Spot headlight
  • After removing and installing/replacing the front bumper panel
  • In the event of customer complaints about the lighting performance

Switch the ignition on.

Perform test procedure via path:

  • Body
  • Lights
  • Targeted headlight illumination

Adjust headlight setting dimension on headlight adjustment device: 0 %Β 

NOTE: The graphic schematically shows the light pattern of the dynamic spot headlight on the projection surface in the inspection glass of a headlight adjustment device.
The proportions shown in the graphic are examples and may differ from a real pattern.
  1. horizontal line = dividing line for reference axis of light/dark boundary for the low-beam headlight
  2. vertical line = break point of light/dark boundary for the asymmetric low-beam headlight

Light pattern of dynamic spot headlight must be positioned as follows:Β 

  • 1/3 must lie above and 2/3 below the horizontal line (1).
  • Vertical line (2) must be in the middle.

If necessary, adjust headlights for targeted illumination.
