Necessary preliminary tasks:Β
- Remove protective cap on exterior mirrorΒ . See 51 16 041 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COVER CAP ON LEFT OR RIGHT EXTERIOR MIRROR , 51 16 041 REMOVING AND REFITTING/REPLACING PROTECTIVE CAP ON LEFT OR RIGHT EXTERIOR MIRROR (WITH SURROUND VIEW) (TO 07/13) or 51 16 041 REMOVING AND REFITTING/REPLACING PROTECTIVE CAP ON LEFT OR RIGHT EXTERIOR MIRROR (WITHOUT SURROUND VIEW) (TO 07/13) .
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove exterior mirror camera.
