IMPORTANT:
Incorrectly installed start/stop switch may cause the start/stop switch or MSA button to jam.
In the case of a fault message "Jammed start/stop switch or MSA button" check before replacing whether the start/stop switch has been correctly installed in the cover and is de-energised!Β
If necessary install the existing start/stop switch again and perform a functional check!

Necessary preliminary tasksΒ
- Remove decorative strip on dashboard in middle. See 51 45 380 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DECORATIVE STRIP ON RIGHT INSTRUMENT PANEL .
Release screws (1) and remove Start/Stop switch (2).

The tab of the start/stop switch (1) be installed below the tab (2)!
