BMW Remote Access Service
Remote Access Services include remote door lock and remote door unlock for example. The vehicle can be locked or unlocked via BMW TeleServices. This service also supports the tracking of the vehicle in the event of theft.
With a certain App it is possible to establish a connection to the vehicle on the iPhone from any location. The following functions are possible:
- Remote locking and remote unlocking
- Remote operation of the auxiliary heater and independent ventilation
- Horn and headlight flasher
- Google local search
- Remote localization (representation of the current vehicle position on a map on the iPhone to locate a parked vehicle within a radius of 1.5 kilometers)
